Audit Supervisor (Auditor)

Lanroc Chartered Accountants Inc. is looking for a dynamic Audit supervisor to join their team of Auditors and Accountants.
Ideal candidate must have completed articles and have a completed Accounting degree with honours or busy with honours.
Duties will include running audits and supervising junior audit staff, preparation of AFS and other accounting, tax and management functions.

The responsiblitiy and duties of the Audit supervisor includes:

  • responsible for initiation, performing and completing statutory audits in terms of International Standards on Auditing and International Financial Reporting Standards
  • responsible for preparation of financial statements and Group Consolidated Financial Statements.
  • responsible for effective internal control testing and evaluation of testing as well as reporting weakness and non -compliance of internal control policies, and systems to management and those charged with governance and providing recommendations
  • responsible for liaising with consulting clients and providing sound advisory services
  • responsible for computation and filing of company taxes as well as individual taxes
  • responsible for delegating of work to other employees and managing of employees to ensure timelines and deadlines are met
  • responsible for supervision and training of junior staff on audits and advisory services
  • responsible for reviewing work performed by juniors prior to presentation to directors
  • responsible for quarterly staff appraisals
  • responsible for supervision and preparation of monthly management accounts

Qualifications: BCOM or Equivalent Degree, Currently Doing Honours, Completed Articles

Experience: 4 Years Audit Experience

Allowances: Car Allowance
